Primary Architecture / Teaching Architecture Elements
Juřicová, Magdaléna ; Veselá, Markéta (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The thesis addresses the connection of the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Fine Arts in the newly designed building. Both faculties are defined primarily by practical creation and corresponding elementary teaching spaces - studios. From these basic elements literally grows the final form of the school. The design process itself is accompanied by constant changes and the search for adequate spatial expression for individual functions of the school. The final solution is the result of gradual rationalisation, finding certainties and sticking points in the proposal. In the end, the barest, most elemental, is crystallized from a multitude of variations and reflections on space.

Domiňáková, Michaela ; Ponešová, Barbora (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
The design theme is not just the archive as a repository of past, but primarily center of architecture as a platform for sharing ideas and shifting boarders in architecture. This makes an institution with overlapping contradictory programs at different levels. It is both closed and open. These two counterparts are solved in spatial and material „spiral“. On the one hand, there is the notion of absolute closeness that of archive, on the other there is also the idea of the maximum openness of public space. Closeness and openness are transcribed in mass, materiality as well as programmatic solutions of space. The aim is to modulate the degree of social interaction in each of the spaces according to its function.

CARBON Visitor Center
Wolf, Tomáš ; Šindlar, Jiljí (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to the design of a visitor centre to be located on the territory of the industrial area of the Frenštát Mines in the village of Trojanovice. The design is based on the official architectural and urban planning study prepared by the KAMIL MRVA ARCHITECTS studio and seeks to work with space and spatial relationships in a modern way. The main objective is to attract new visitors and enrich the lives of the future residents of this modern neighbourhood. The design uses openness and enclosure of space to interact harmoniously with each other, creating an organic and connected environment. The aim is to reflect and reflect the character of the area on which the visitor centre will be located, creating a space that is welcoming and functional for visitors and future residents. The theoretical foundations of architecture are key elements in the design of a visitor centre. Spatial relationships are carefully considered and optimized to maximize the use of the space while maintaining its functionality. The overall design is therefore adapted to modern architectural trends and reflects the requirements of the times. The result is a visitor centre that is not only aesthetically impressive, but also fully functional and adapted to the needs of visitors and future residents. The resulting space is harmonious and connected, contributing to a pleasant visitor experience and a quality living environment for the future residents of this modern neighbourhood.
Consistency of answering and change of attitudes
Absolonová, Angelika ; Preiss, Marek (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
5 ABSTRACT This bachelor's thesis follows the ongoing doctoral thesis of Mgr. Barbora Balková in the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Klecany. The NIMH research is concerned with broad personality feature as a part of personality traits that can be psychologically meaningful and measurable, and part of the integrity of the personality. My thesis is therefore divided into two parts; theoretical part and empirical part. Theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and their changing, consistency in answering and also with personality traits of an individual. Empirical part is following up to knowledge from the theoretical part and it is concerned with correlations between consistency in answering and changing of attitudes. Another aims of this part in this bachelor's thesis were to find if there is a relation between changing of attitudes and personality trait (Openness) and if there is a relation between consistency in answering and personality trait (Conscientiousness). For measuring my respondent's feedback I used the following methods: personality test BFI-44, attitude scale and method to measure the consistency in answering which was developed by experts in National Institute of Mental Health. The method for measuring of the consistency carried out in this work focused on identifying how the...
